When we lived in Switzerland we got to spend three Christmas’s exploring the different Christmas Markets in several countries. Germany was the best but they were all wonderful. By accident I discovered Philadelphia had a outdoor Christmas Village and we decided to take the train down to check it out.
The Christmas Village is set up in Love Park, Center City Philadelphia right in front of City Hall.
Just like in Europe there were souvenir mugs for the Gluhwein.
Love Park ornaments for the trees.
I am not a fan of wine and Gluhwein not at all!
Ahh, Apple Strudel was ah-mazing!
Saint Nicholas and Krumpas
Lot’s of wooden Christmas items, I love Santa’s.
Muppets and more for the kids.
Cute Christmas Train under the big tree.
Temporary ice rink set up right in front of City Hall.
