Day 190 – Turkish

Besides salts, my husband also likes to use different oils. Our most favorite olive oil, Salvagno, was one we found when staying in Verona, Italy (home of Romeo and Juliet). I could almost drink it, unfortunately we can’t find it stateside, and we ran out of what we brought back years ago, so it is just a fond memory although the empty bottle is still in our kitchen with a tea light on top as a reminder. Our daughter gave her Dad three oils, Lemon, Blood Orange, and Provence flavors for Christmas that she had brought back from a business trip to Idaho. He also brings home Sesame Oils and such from his travels through Asia.  And recently he was in Turkey and discovered a Turkish Olive Oil that was amazing (who knew 🙂 ). We went through it pretty fast and when his rep visited her a few weeks ago he brought him more and some honey in a can too. Oil is good, haven’t tried the honey yet!
