Day 136 – Singapore

In 1999, my husband started traveling to Singapore on a regular basis. It takes about 30 hours from the time he leaves our house until he checks into his hotel room. I made the trip from the U.S. and Switzerland, and as much as I enjoyed both visits it is too long a flight for me, but thankfuly he doesn’t mind it :). The food in Singapore is eclectic and really good. On my first visit we were treated to a seafood feast that included two crab dishes, Pepper Crab (which is now my favorite) and Singapore Chili Crab (which was my original favorite).  I craved the Singapore Chili Crab when I got home, nothing like it here in the states, so my husband found a mix that he brings back each visit and makes that is pretty good. Although it’s a mess to eat (I should have taken a picture of our hands before we washed them) it’s worth it!

I’m not a crab fan (actually I’ve never tried real crab), but I really want to eat that right now, and 30 hours of traveling, ugh no thank you!
