Day 91 – Arches

Our town was founded in 1745, which is really old for United States cities, and before we actually declared our independence. There are some buildings still standing from that era, most have a plaque that has the name of the original inhabitant and the year the house was built. We used to joke when we first moved here that we were going to get a plaque made with our last name and the year we moved in, 1990. At the time it seemed silly but now 25 years later, seems pretty cool, oh well. I love architecture, I was on track to be one before I met my husband but that’s another story, and we have some really beautiful buildings in town.

Oh really like this photo! The composition is great. Reminds me of the town my Grandma lived it, all the buildings had a plaque names/occupations, I just loved walking around the town, so beautiful, I imagine your town must be just gorgeous, and I can’t wait to see more pictures of it with the nicer weather!
