Day 60 – #41

Forty-one years ago our daughter made a very quick entrance into the world. At least quick once she decided to join us as she made us wait almost ten months until then! It is hard to believe she is forty-one, how can that be, I still remember her childhood as if it was yesterday. I am a celebrator. My family knows that about me. Whether they are near or far, I try to surprise them, some way, some how for their birthdays, especially milestones, but also the in-between ones.  So even though she is 3,000 (and soon to be many more) miles away, we lit the candle and sang Happy Birthday, via video message and Skype, virtually blowing out the candle for her.

I love this, the lighting is lovely. It’s frightening how fast time flies, I try to remind my girls often to savour the moment, don’t wish time away. Hope your daughter had a wonderful birthday x
